Parkside Chambers is delighted to announce that three members, Jeremy Yau, Dexter Leung and Ivy Ho, have passed the 2024 Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Legal Professional Examination (2024年粵港澳大灣區律師執業考試).
In total, 6 members of Parkside have successfully passed the GBA exam since its launch.
Alice Lau passed the GBA exam in 2022 and was assessed by the board of examiners. She is expected to obtain her GBA Lawyer’s licence to practise soon.
Frederick Chan and Mike Yeung passed the inaugural GBA exam in 2021, were assessed by the board of examiners and have obtained their GBA Lawyer’s licence. With approval from the Hong Kong Bar Council, Frederick and Mike are authorised to practise as GBA Lawyers in civil and commercial matters in the Greater Bay Area.
With dual qualifications in Hong Kong SAR and the GBA, they are uniquely placed to conduct cross-border litigation and arbitration in English, Putonghua and Cantonese.
