Deanna was called to the Bar in 2011 upon being awarded the Bar Scholarship and Charles Ching Memorial Scholarship and having graduated from her Master of Laws from Harvard Law School.
She has a broad civil and regulatory practice with an emphasis on land and trusts, medical negligence and commercial law. She has also undertaken an array of criminal work from the Magistracies to the Hong Kong Court of Final Appeal, with a particular emphasis on matters relating to the Securities and Futures Commission and white-collar crime.
Deanna was appointed as a Deputy Adjudicator of the Small Claims Tribunal in May to July 2020. She is a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and a member of several Government Appeal Boards. She was the Chairman of the Young Barristers Committee and currently serves on various committees of the Hong Kong Bar Association.
