Parkside was delighted to celebrate the admission of Benson Tsoi SC to the Inner Bar on Saturday, 11 May 2024 as he was appointed to the rank of Senior Counsel in the HKSAR. Members from Parkside appeared at the ceremony at the Court of Final Appeal.
The Hon Chief Justice Andrew Cheung presided over the proceedings. The Secretary for Justice, Mr. Paul Lam SC, the Bar Chairman, Mr. Victor Dawes SC, and the President of the Law Society, Mr. C.M. Chan, all delivered lively addresses in front of eminent members of the Judiciary and the legal community. Benson made a speech of thanks in reply on behalf of all three new Senior Counsel appointed. Benson extends his heartfelt thank you to Parkside Chambers for nurturing and supporting him over many years. We all look forward to starting this new exciting chapter with Benson as our newest silk.
Following Benson’s appointment, this takes the number of Senior Counsel at Parkside to 8.
