Parkside Chambers is delighted to announce that Vincent Lung, Fergus Tam and Nicole Liu have been admitted as Fellows of the Hong Kong Institute of Arbitrators (HKIArb).
Vincent has a broad civil practice with an emphasis on commercial and company matters. He advises and regularly appears in shareholders disputes and winding up matters. His cases frequently involve elements of trust law, fiduciary obligations and equitable remedies in view of his significant teaching experience in these areas.
Fergus is developing a broad practice in civil and commercial litigation. He has been instructed in multiple arbitrations, including as sole counsel in two arbitrations. He has extensive experience in commercial injunctions and asset recovery, including injunctions in aid of foreign proceedings.
Nicole is developing a broad practice, with a focus on arbitration and commercial litigation. Several of her arbitrations have involved novel points of law, including the scope of multi-tier dispute resolution clauses and the recoverability of third-party litigation funding fees. She has handled cases related to shareholder disputes, civil fraud, insolvency, building and construction law, listing matters, and injunctive relief.
