On 21 November 2024, Frederick Chan and Dexter Leung were invited to deliver the 38th talk of a series of Hong Kong and Macau related talks organised for the 15th anniversary of the establishment of the Centre for Basic Laws of Hong Kong SAR and Macau SAR of Shenzhen University (深圳大學港澳基本法研究中心15週年學術活動 港澳論壇第38講).
The talk covered recent arbitration-related cases and document disclosure in arbitration in Hong Kong SAR (香港特別行政區仲裁案例新發展和文件披露實踐).
The talk was attended by academic staff (including Professors Wang Qianhua (王千華), Zhang Shudian (張淑鈿) and Liu Biao (劉飆)) and students of the Law Faculty.
Frederick is an experienced counsel and arbitrator with a focus on commercial litigation and arbitration with a cross-border element / relating to Mainland China. He can conduct cases in English, Cantonese and Putonghua. He passed the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Legal Professional Examination in 2021 and is a qualified GBA lawyer. He currently chairs the Mainland Affairs Committee of Parkside Chambers.
Dexter has a wide-ranging practice and has experience conducting commercial litigation and arbitration in English, Cantonese and Putonghua, including cases with a cross-border element / relating to Mainland China. He passed the GBA Legal Professional Examination this year and is a member of the Mainland Affairs Committee of Parkside Chambers.
