We are pleased to announce that the China University of Political Science and Law (CUPL), one of the top law schools in Mainland China, has recently appointed our Head of Chambers, Mr. Paul Lam SC and Mr. Osmond Lam as their professor and guest professor respectively for 2 years from 1 September 2019 to 31 August 2021.
During their terms of appointment, Paul and Osmond will run a course on General Principles of Common Law at CUPL. The course is an optional module. It is intended to reach out to both law and non-law undergraduate and postgraduate students. For the coming academic year, 45 students have enrolled for the course.
In addition to the Parkside Chambers Scholarship, which is implemented recently, the appointments of professorship by the CUPL is another milestone which signifies Parkside’s efforts and devotion in nurturing future generations.
