Jonathan Ah-weng conducts advocacy training in Singapore

Parkside Chambers’ Jonthan Ah-weng was delighted to conduct advocacy training as part of a series of taster courses for the Junior Lawyers Professional Certificate Programme (JLP) for a talented group of fledgling lawyers at the Singapore Academy of Law between 24 – 26 July.  In addition to serving as an advocacy assessor for applications/ appeals, he also had the privilege of participating in a panel discussion on application advocacy alongside Steven Elliot KC of One Essex Court and Kam Yuin Gan, Assistant Registrar of the Supreme Court of Singapore. It was a highly rewarding experience to engage with esteemed professionals and to contribute to the development of future legal advocates in Singapore.
