His Honour Judge Herbert Au-Yeung, a former member of Parkside Chambers, was appointed a Judge of the Court of First Instance of the High Court of Hong Kong by the Chief Executive on the recommendation of the Judicial Officers Recommendation Commission on 2 July 2024.
The appointment of the Honourable Mr Justice Herbert Au-Yeung, as he will be known, takes effect from 3 July 2024.
