On 19 February 2019, the Commission of Inquiry, which was first constituted to look into the diaphragm wall and platform slab construction works of the Hung Hom Station Extension under the Shatin to Central Link Project, received endorsement from the Chief Executive in Council to extend its scope of inquiry (the “Extended Inquiry“). The substantive hearing of the Extended Inquiry will take place between 27 May and 19 June 2019 at the former Tsuen Wan Law Courts Building (open to public).
