Nicole joined Chambers in 2021 following the completion of her pupillage with Mr Jonathan Ah-weng, Mr Robin D’Souza, Mr Jeffrey Chau, and Mr Kalvin Chan.
Nicole is developing a broad practice, with experience in arbitration, commercial, companies and shareholder disputes, injunctive relief, insolvency, trusts, land, professional negligence, probate, personal injuries, departmental summonses, and white-collar crime.
Nicole is a Fellow of the Hong Kong Institute of Arbitrators.
She is capable of providing written submissions and conducting hearings in both English and Chinese, and accepts instructions in all areas of work.

- Ho Yat Wah v Chung Hang Him, The Sole Executor Named in the Will of Madam Chan Yuk Mui, Deceased [2024] HKCA 378: in this case involving an alleged trust over 7 properties and other moveable chattels, successfully represented the Defendant in resisting the appeal and obtaining reliefs sought in cross-appeal (led by Mr CY Li SC, with Mr Jonathan Ah-weng). The Court of Appeal clarified the application of Mibanga (the law on whether the trial judge had properly considered all evidence). Distinguishing an earlier line of cases, the Court also awarded interest on pre-judgment mesne profit.

Li Yizhou (李軼洲) v China Zenith Chemical Group Limited (中國天化工集團有限公司) HCA 1790 / 2023: successfully obtained summary judgment for the plaintiff in respect of sums owed under a bond issued by a listed company (with Mr Jeffrey Chau)
Arbitration
- HKIAC: appeared for the claimant in a 13-day trial involving a building and construction dispute (led by Mr Peter Clayton SC and with Ms Astina Au)
- UNCITRAL: acted for an international financial institution in a claim for breach of a sponsor agreement for a listing application to HKEx (as sole counsel)
White-Collar Crime
- 香港特別行政區 訴 方佩玲及另二人 [2022] HKDC 389: acted for D1 who was charged with 3 counts of money laundering (with Mr Jonathan Ah-weng)
- 香港特別行政區 訴 陳凱港及另一人 [2024] HKDC 634: acted for D1 who was charged with 2 counts of fraud (with Mr Jonathan Ah-weng)
