Parkside Chambers is delighted to share that it has secured the Award for Pro Bono Legal Services under the Recognition Scheme by the Administration Wing of the Chief Secretary for Administration’s Office of the Hong Kong SAR Government for the period 2023-2024.
Parkside Chambers received the Award in recognition of the aggregate hours of pro bono legal services provided by members.
In addition, we are pleased to highlight that 3 individual members were recognised by way of Individual and Special Awards. Dexter Leung received the Individual Award (for providing over 30 hours of pro bono work), while Fergus Tam and Nicole H.K. Liu secured the Special Award (for dedicating over 50 hours of pro bono work).
The objectives of the Recognition Scheme for Provision of Pro Bono Legal Services are to commend legal professionals who have provided pro bono legal services for the community and to encourage more legal professionals to volunteer to provide free legal services to the members of the public.
