Parkside Chambers is delighted to welcome Chak Kei Lau and Alex C H Chan as our newest tenants, commencing practice iin September 2026.
Both bring exceptional academic credentials and strong advocacy experience.
Chak Kei is a Bar Scholar, prior to commencing practice he served as a Judicial Assistant at the Court of Final Appeal, obtained First Class degrees from UCL and Cambridge, and has a robust international mooting record. He is developing a broad practice across all areas of Chambers’ work, with particular strengths in public, commercial and international law.
Alex combines a broad civil and commercial practice with a double First from HKU and a BCL with Distinction from Oxford. He brings experience across complex commercial disputes, fraud, asset recovery, trusts, banking and regulatory matters.
Their arrival further reinforces the depth, breadth and next generation of advocacy talent at Parkside.
