Overview

Cherie is a Bar Scholar. She joined Parkside Chambers in 2025 after completing her pupillage with Mr. Bernard Mak, Ms. Catherine Wong, Ms. Deanna Law, and Mr. Alexander Tang.

Cherie is a graduate of the University of Cambridge, where she attained 1st Class Honours in both her B.A. (Hons) in Law degree and LLM degree. She also achieved a Distinction on the P.C.LL. at the University of Hong Kong.

During her studies, Cherie received multiple awards in recognition of her academic achievements, including the Prince Philip Scholarship, the Sir Elihu Lauterpacht Prize in Law, the Sweet & Maxwell Edlyn Yap Prize for Litigation, and the Thomson Reuters Law Prize (as most promising P.C.LL. candidate who intends to be a barrister).

Cherie is developing a broad civil practice and accepts instructions in all areas of work. She is fluent in English, Cantonese, and Putonghua.
