Leticia has experience in asset recovery litigation arising out of fraud or misconduct claims, including in the context of wire fraud cases, crypto-related matters and breaches of share pledge agreements. She has successfully secured and resisted proprietary injunctions, Mareva injunctions, ancillary disclosure orders and Norwich Pharmacal orders. Her experience covers proceedings with cross-jurisdictional elements such as injunctions in aid of foreign proceedings and jurisdictional challenges based on proper forum and exclusive jurisdiction clauses.
Leticia has experience in winding up petitions (for the petitioner and the company), unfair prejudice claims, court applications on schemes of arrangement and advising the company on issues arising out of restructuring efforts, including those involving foreign elements.
Leticia has been recognised by the Legal 500 Hong Kong Bar (2023, 2024) as a Rising Star in Competition.
Prior to commencing full practice, Leticia assisted Gerry McCoy SC and Tim Parker in successfully securing the acquittal of the 3rd respondent in Nutanix [2019] 3 HKC 307, the landmark first case brought by the Competition Commission under the Competition Ordinance. The case established important principles, including the beyond reasonable doubt standard of proof in competition proceedings and the test for attribution in respect of employees who had “gone rogue”.
